Learning New Things
I worked with Prezi a lot today. It takes a little getting used to, but I think I am starting to get the hang of it. One thing that I did find interesting about the program is it will only accept Youtube videos. I found that to be very interesting. I thought I would try a different site to get a video and when I tried to put it into Prezi it would not let it. I did find the same video from the one site on Youtube so I was able to use what I wanted in the end. It just surprised me that it would not accept videos from other sites.

I agree that Prezi took a little time to get used to, but I love it. It does some weird things sometimes, but you just have to keep adjusting. At times, the only solution I found was to log out and log back in. I did not put in vidios, only pictures and found that the picture has to be in an original portrait orientation. The landscape view will show up landscape. I know that some of my students from last year would absolutely love Prezi. I might have to hunt them down to share it with them. Have fun with Prezi!
ReplyDeleteAll online tools are subject to weirdness. I think Prezi is just cool because it is so different. Prezi did not accept any videos until recently, so I suspect more are coming... Glad you are getting the hand of it.
